Help Fight Hunger with Sustainable Giving
This fall, consider the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of hungry children, families and seniors in our community by providing a sustainable gift. There are many ways you can contribute – you can create a legacy by planning a gift as part of your overall estate or financial plans or you can provide a small commitment each month and have a huge impact on the fight against hunger.
Create a Legacy
Your legacy gift will sustain ongoing and new initiatives to transform hunger relief for years to come.
A gift from your estate is an easy but powerful way to make a lasting difference in the lives of so many in our community. You can accomplish this by naming Second Harvest Heartland as a beneficiary of your will, retirement plan, trust agreements and/or life insurance.

Become a Harvester
A monthly, sustaining gift helps us better allocate resources to make sure we have a steady supply of food for those in need. When you become a Second Harvest Heartland monthly donor, you join a group of our most dedicated and committed supporters we call Harvesters. No matter the amount, your monthly commitment can have a huge impact on the fight against hunger. Just $10 per month provides 37 meals, and $120 per year provides 444 meals to our hungry neighbors!
Becoming a Harvester helps us reduce administrative costs and puts more of your contribution directly into programs to feed those in need. It’s easy to join online, and you’ll receive login information to manage your monthly giving preferences, instructions to change your payment account, modify the amount or even skip payments when you need to. You’ll help save us staff time and resources, so we can put more of your contribution right to work in our communities.
Become a Harvester today and help create a sustainable gift that helps your neighbors in need.
